You Won’t
People ask for the raise, don’t get it and are unhappy.
The same people get the raise and are still unhappy after the first night of celebration.
We get the trophy and are still unhappy, we come in second and are still unhappy, always in search of an illusion, a permanent state of utopia. The problem is, a permanent state doesn’t exist and we insist on searching for it.
The antidote is learning to be at peace with change and learning to make it worthwhile to be in each phase that life offers.
